Parliament president Chuan Leekpai led other lawmakers to place flowers at the feet of the King Rama I statue on Bangkok’s Tri Phet Road to mark Chakri Day on Tuesday.
In a Royal ceremony marking Chakri Day, Their Majesties King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Queen Suthida paid their respects to the King Rama I statue on Monday (April 6) near the Saphan Phuttayotfa or Memorial Bridge in Bangkok.
THE NEW constitution will be promulgated on Thursday – Chakri Day – in a ceremony to be presided over by His Majesty the King, according to a Royal Household Bureau schedule announced in the Royal Gazette yesterday.
